Gerstenberger follows his inspiration that he gets from nature and connects it with his passion for modern architecture with its geometric basic orientation. What has been made of paper and then folded with lightness, finds now its expression in heavy, permanent material.
His way of designing, impresses with an artful simplicity. Due to its few lines and cuts, the emotional and expressive form becomes convincing.

The creative process is characterised by an urban physical confrontation with the material and dimensions that are taken by the sculptures and then reflected.
